From September 1, 2017, through October 15, 2017, Crossgates employees and their families participated in the SparkPITTSBURGH Company Step Challenge competing against other local employers to prove that we work for one of the most active companies in Pittsburgh, PA!  We are pleased to announce that Crossgates finished in the top ten within our company classification. Our top five "steppers" were as follows:  Lisa Buettner, General Manager, with 761,188 steps, Scott Davis, General Manager, 744,706 steps, Carie Voda Hayworth, Daughter of Diane Voda, Vice President, 718,376 steps, Michael Klocke, Spouse of Lois Klocke, Administrative Assistant, 649,943 steps and Cindy Knotts, Executive Coordinator/IT Manager, 649,686 steps. The total combined number of steps for all employees was 9,659,102.  Pittsburgh's goal for all participating companies was to reach 1 Billion steps.  We are happy to report that the Pittsburgh goal was met! On October 25, 2017, an awards ceremony was held at WTAE to recognize participating companies and the winners in each category and individual high-steppers.  Crossgates hopes that this will be the first of many years participating in this event.  It was alot of fun for all!
